Join us for a beginners workshop on how to start your own House History journey. This 2 hour workshop will explore documentary evidence which exists for the history of houses, exploring what the main sources can tell us about your home and the people that lived there. It will introduce participants to the sources with examples from Case Studies of House Histories we have undertaken and ways in which you can explore the history of the development of your house, find out about who lived there before you and the lives they may have lived. Participants will receive a copy of our house History Guide as well as handouts to help with your own research.
The course runs from 10.00am - 12.00pm and includes tea/coffee and biscuits
