FEES
I offer a range of services depending on your requirements and everything can be tailored to your needs and research requirements. Hourly research can be undertaken for both Family History and House History with a minimum of 2 hours work required. I can also tailor packages to your needs for larger and more detailed projects, for both private and business clients.
Travel is charged for journeys over 20 miles from my own house. This is charged at a standard rate per mile and this might include travel to archives and repositories. Visits to your own home are not charged for. I keep a record of all mileage covered during my research for you and this is included in an itemised list and I will keep you up to date with costs as the research is undertaken.
Photographic licences, photocopying costs and BMD certificates are charged separately and these will be discussed with you. These are charged at cost.
If you have a total budget available for your project then this will be discussed at the initial consultation stage and I will let you know what is likely to be possible within your budget range. projects can always be continued at a later stage if you wish to find out more.
Please note that half of the cost of the research is payable before research begins and the rest is then payable within 14 days of the completed research.
